Wirecast
(Paid) (Windows / MacOS) http://www.telestream.net/wirecast/overview.htm
Wirecast is known for it's professional, intuitive interface and great features, but also for it's price. At the time of this writing it is ~$500 USD, so unless your church is ready to put an investment like that into Livestream, this may not be the best solution for you.
XSplit
(Free) (Windows) https://www.xsplit.com/#broadcaster
XSplit is a great, Free video Encoder software that is gaining traction. Some users have reported having issues with dropped frames when using OBS, but when they switched to XSplit everything was working fine. We recommend XSplit as one of the great free encoders out there.
OBS
(Free) (Windows / MacOS) https://obsproject.com/
This is the most commonly used Encoder due to it being free, and one of the few encoders out there that has remained reliable over the last few years. This encoder is a great start for churches that need to just get started with a minimal budget. Unfortunately, the OBS interface is pretty simple as well as limited features.
